I have a technical problem that I need your help with please.
Game Version & Patch: Crusader Kings patch 1.05
OS & build/SP: Vista Ultimate 64bit build 6001 SP1
Computer, CPU & speed: Custom Build Intel Q6850 3.0GHz
RAM: 4094MB
Free HDD space: 106GB
Video (brand, model, driver, memory): ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT 512MB 8.3
Sound (brand, model, driver): Bose USB Audio
DirectX Version: 10
I read the stickies but I still have the following problem:
I followed suggestions given in another thread titled "game cannot play" in this forum. I installed the game in C:\Games and as an administrator with UAC turned off. I renamed the AVI folder to AVIBack. I also don't have "DV" that is mentioned in that thread (nor do I know what it is).
The game will not load. I don't see the settings.txt file in the Crusader Kings folder so that I can make sure the resolution is correct. This might be the problem. I have older and newer games installed that load and play correctly.
