So I wanted to get my girlfriend to give CK2 a shot. Since I share my Steam library with her, she has access to all my games. But, since the CK2 went F2p on steam it doesn't seem to work anymore. She can't see CK2 share and can only install the f2p version . I though it might work to just install the base free version and that then she could use the shared DLC, but it doesn't work.

Is there any way around this?

That is correct, that facility does not work on free items. We've had this issue with free DLCs in Cities Skylines for some years.

Sorry about that!

Possibly reverting to an older version ike 3.2.1 might still work?
