CK2Plus For CK2 3.1 - CTD on Game Start No DLC or Other Mods?

Can't seem to figure this one out.

- I have the latest version of CK2 (3.1.0 KKAD)
- I have no other mods running
- I'm not using any DLCs, and the only ones I own are Charlemagne and a couple portrait packs.
- I've used the up-to-date download thread, and followed the instructions for installation


Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you used CK2+ before? Did you remove the old version first?
Have you verified the integrity of game files in Steam?

I am having the same problem as well, tried verifying the integrity of game files on steam
