Hello, I've recently just bought HOI4 and CK3 and decided to start with CK3 and I've been having alot of fun, but that fun always comes to an end around 2 hours of gameplay or so because of the dreaded 24H2 update (i assume?).
This crash also forced me to completely give up playing Path of Exile 2, on their forums there is a thread with a whooping 900+ pages of people experiencing the exact same issue (whole pc locking up forcing you to manually restart your pc), since the game came out to this day, with no fix, with some people reporting damage to some PC components such as SSD/HDD data corruption.
I've tried Vulkan but the game feels way too "choppy", espeically later on in the game when theres more stuff on the screen.
Also, regarding the registry edit fix, I've got completely no clue how to do it.
I see the sticky thread is from March 13 with no official fix to this day.
Is there anything else I could do? I really want to keep playing but I also don't want to fry my PC from constantly having to force shutdown my computer.
3080Ti, 7800X3D, 32GB Ram
EDIT: regarding temps, GPU stays around 65C and CPU goes to 71c max only when i speed up time to the max, then down to 62-66ish when going back to normal speed
