i am running win7 64bits
a phenom ii x4 processor
8 gigs of ram

the game starts using 6gb-ish ram and as I play consumes more and more and hits 8gigs and after that my computer just stops responding and I have to reset.
Is it normal for ram usage to bloat?

1) windows 7 is unsupported
2) you likely are running into a paging file size problem, increase your paging size
3) you're running on an incredibly underpowered system
