Since hotfix 1.1.2 I can no longer start CK3. After clicking resume or play from the launcher (or launching CK3.exe directly) the game starts loading, music comes on, loading screens etc. But when the actual game is supposed to launch, the music stutters a split second and then it crashes to desktop. When I click "resume" it loads much longer than when I click play, so it seems it's actually loading the whole history but crashing when starting up the actual GUI.

The Paradox crash reporter launches, but cannot upload, reports "The upload failed for an unknown reason. Please try again." (I've tried many times).

I've made no hardware or software changes (that I'm aware of), I last played the game 2 days ago on patch 1.1.1.

I've tried verifying steam game files OK.

I've included DxDiag.txt from DxDiag. The rest of the files attached are from the latest crashes/ck3_xxxx folder and its /system subfolder

Don't know if your are using any mods, but when i have this music stutttering + crash, it's always because of a conflicting, outdated or just broken mod.

If you revert to 1.1.1 in the Steam betas tab for this game, does it run again?

Hi guys, sorry I forgot to check this. AndrewT actually ended up helping me find the issue more or less by accident. The problem was apparently Steam itself. I had to uninstall and reinstall Steam, and then CK3, that fixed it.
