Hi! i'm new to the game andi'm playing a colonisation game as Portugal. Right now I'm expanding to Africa, I have a trade company in the zanzibar coast area and was planning on take the mutapa region. Should i create another TC for the provinces i take or create a state because of the ivory and gold mine?

You should state the gold mines, because the gold income gets reduced by the autonomy(which is usually 90% in TC provinces). But you could make TCs in areas which have no gold provinces, because the production income is only reduced by half the autonomy in TC provinces (e.g. with 90% autonomy, the production income gets reduced by 45%).
