anyone know how long colonists spend as children, youths, adults, middle-aged and seniors? are they equal portions of the colonist's lifespan?
i'm specifically curious about being able to tell at a glance about population management, ie wondering if i have enough children and youths to replace my seniors and middle-aged.
if they're all equal portions of the lifespan, then true equilibrium would mean having an equal number of each.
Of course, each playthrough i've done i've had the huge population explosion and this hasn't been an issue, but on my next playthrough i'm hoping to try some rather draconian and micro-managey experiments in pop control
