I looked at through the files at the document, CK2Plus_combat_trait_events.txt, in order to figure out the events for improving one's fighter trait and I couldn't make heads or tails of it. Can someone give each event on this document and a summary of what it does?

events in combat_trait_events file are triggered. Events can be triggered by a decision, other events, or on action trigger.
in this case they're triggered randomly by on action /common/on_actions, have a look at 00_on_actions.
There are also events that reduce combat traits with age.
