Indeed, look at the political situation I've put down so far, before I get going on the events I'd like to know if it's right, or if it's unbalanced, but so far here it is roughly
the srivijiya empire (originally 400- late 1300's) expands to encompass almost the entirety of modern day indonesia, it established itself as a great trading dominating the entire area, around 1350 Islam begins to make inroads through muslim traders from the middle east they make the biggest impact in the capital and the surrounding area (basically sumatra and maybe java) the royalty of Srivijiya (I'm not sure how they were governed actually) embrace Islam and start propagating as the one true path, at the expense of the two dominant religions in the area hinduism and buddhism, eventually there's a great schism and the buddhists and hindus break off forming there own seperate kingdoms (whether they are republics, theocracies or whatever I don't know), a buddhist state is formed around mallucca and borneo, with the sumatra and java staying loyal to the newly formed srivijiya sultanate (name and borders are open to discussion might I add) with the hindu makkasar occupying the rest of the islands, it might be okay to include a fourth(maybe pagan?) nation in the philipines, when it comes to islams direction in the area, I think the sultanate player should be given a choice at the outset, spread islam peacefully , where a random conversion set of events will be used, or conversion by the sword, this choice will determine whether they can go mutezalite later, orimazd thinks it could be feasible for mutazelism to get that far due to the hajj, other than that I can't think of much more history, I'll adapt it into something more short and concise later
