Hawo im playing as germany and ive just noticed that the japs are getting pushed back in asia and by Commie China haha. Good to see Japan losing for once. Um how do i add a picture to show???

I think its like f11 to take screen shot. I think you can also hit ctl-print screen and then paste it into paint and save it.
I have played only 2 games so far, both as Germany on max AI cheating, 33 scenario, AoD. The first one was with release version, the second with revision 2.

the opposite for me lodovic. Its a very fun game. Japan got beaten off the asian coastline by commies and nationalist china. Japs dow usa and uk in december 41 causing china to join allies so i allied japan a short time later. I pushed soviets back to moscow by winter and tried to hold a position and push eas into occupied iran which at first failed but eventually secured iraq (they had joined axis) and stalin sued for peace in about may 42. Just before they surrendered usa made a mass invasion of France!!!!! Yes thats right the yankes actually invaded. So now im frantically trying to move my russian based units back to france. the yankes have about 50 divs stuck in NE france...
So in conclusion of what ive seen is: USA ai is much improved than previous ai in hoi (going back to hoi1 since last time ive really seen succesful us invasions of france). The Soviet ai is fairly poor. They were able to dig in in winter and move units to wear i lacked units and succesffuly push me back but besides that they were unable to hold during the begining of the battle (i attacked on the event July 3rd 1941 and reached provinces infront of moscow and Stalingrad by September 41 and I had zero tank divisions, only infantry and motorised units).
Chinese AI must be better than in the past unless Japanese ai is very poor... I have noticed even though japan has lost asia, after attacking the allies they have now moved into indonesia and annexed the philipines, so atleast i can say they are not pasive.
Overall really enjoy the game, love the new events, it makes you feel your more there

Only suggestion is fix the Soviet ai/get them to build more units/ Get them to support more units on the flanks... i had it to easy pushing south east... Although possibly if they had held a line in the east, they could have regrouped and been a force for me to reckon with... A 1942 US invasion accompanied with a strong Soviet Union, that would have made it extremely difficult! Almost there!

I dont even use F11 or Ctrl+PrtScn, I just press my PrtScn button and paste it into MsPaint then save it as Jpeg (smaller size) then press the "paper clip" to open up the file manager. Once thats open just add the file then upload it and insert it to the post. Pretty simple. I think I have posted so many pictures of the game so far I am running out of space on the file manager it gives 9mb i think total and I used over half of that!
Also I have yet to see Japan actually beat China in 6 games. Italy is very adventurous if you can get them out of the Mediterranean which I try very hard to secure first before invading USSR.
Also USSR is a pushover though I have not played on hard mode yet just normal, but set AI to Aggressive and yes plenty of invasions by USA in 1942/43 but repulsed them all. Italy AI loves Asia too! Almost all of South America is at war with me (Germany) and my naval blockade of UK is just destroying transports and escorts in the hundreds and I posted in another thread the losses for Japan in my current game. I think UK has lost 2045 transports and 350 escorts from my 44 subs and 9 CA-7 fleet. Also have taken out a few carriers from UK and 1 from USA not to bad with no CV's myself!
i have a very small poorly equiped navy which is from events... my entire campaign was army based thus uk is still alive. its difficult to build a navy if you want a superior army in iron cross. italy took nth africa without my help and pushed down to south africa and until usa joined they almost had it but had to retreat as usa took morrocow and got the rest in the event. Now as i finished with ussr i am helping them in nth africa repel them. Although this is a weird game in 1940 Republic spain (they had beaten the nationalists in the scw) had dow portugal, so i dow portugal which meant they joineed allies and spain was at war with uk who then took gibralter... portugal has 0 provinces left but 1 is under friendly control by china which i guess means why spain cant annex them. Is a good game. I have since taken india and pushing slowly through burma. Japan got beaten in nth australia and retreated to new guinea.
For me I see that Japan is beaten from China, somehow when they controlled half of it! Now, even Korea is under Nat. Chinese control, Mengkukuo was annexed by Com. China, but I missed the Manchukuo annextation or it didn't even happen? What's going on? Philippines are controlled, but not annexed. The AI doesn't like annextations in Asia.

Then I noticed Comchi was striking back! From 3 provinces they managed to get half of China theirs till i was in Burma.

yeah Mao is quite evil. i pushed into china from the north west (sinkiang area) and took chongoing (the 19ic nat china province). Mao had originally been at peace with me for some years and out of no where he declares war on me!!! Mao pushes my men back in the north and i retreat from chongoing, frantically moving reserves from europe and burma which is in a stalemate with chinese and british forces!!! I managed to hold my lines in the mountain region near commie chinas pre-borders but at a large cost! Japan tried to make a crappy invasion in the south of china but failed as they landed 2 units... This looks like its going to be a long fought out campaign... USA are some how holding a thin line strip on west coast of morroco that extends down the west coast of africa. Im predicting about 200 american units along the strip... So another stalemate there, whilst south africa is in a stalemate due to whoever makes an attack gets encircled and anhilated. The yankes also were defeated in an invasion of Japan and during it the japs were able to reconqour the dutch east indies but were also kicked back out of australia.
Really enjoy the long range of random invasions in iron cross, but I think what it needs is the back up units required to hold conqoured territories and also the need for extra units to avoid stalemates.
