First let me say that whoever designed this game did an excellent job.

The problem that Im haveing is:

As I play the game goes great. But as the years past the game starts to slow down until it is barely moving along. Like lag. (Or I guess it is lag) (I dont know) Is this a problem with my system or is it the game?

Ive tried saving and exiting and it does, but when I come back the game runs slow still. It will go a few seconds then freeze a second then continue on. And it gets worse and worse as time goes on. Anyone know why Im having this problem.

Here are the specs on my computer:
Pentium 4 at 2.0 Ghz
768 MB of RAM
540 MB of available Physical memory
80 GB Hard Drive using 12 GB so far
Video Card is a Radeon 7500 with Plutonium XP XP8.1 - Build6166
Running Windows XP
I have all the updates HOI and all the XP updates that I can get.

Please Help....

You realize you started 5 new theads with the exact same post!

As you are new to the forum, I will assume you just made a mistake of some kind and were not doing that delibrately!

Now to your question, Who is the publisher of your version?

Who is the Publisher? their logo will be on the CD.
(Paradox is the developer)

publisher

went away for a few days.....

On my CD it says the publisher is strategy first.

the cd number is 24144cd

it also says (2002 strategy first inc. all rights reserved. hearts of iron is a tradmark of paradow entertainment ab.

there are three logos on the cd. one is paradox entertainment, the other is strategy first, and the third is infogramers.

thats it for the cd.

any ideas?

The first thing to try is always renaming the AVI folder to AVI_back

After that I would insure that you have the lateat drivers for your AUdio and video cards. You may also want to try playing with the music disabled (you can do this with HOI config program). Another option is to adjust the acceleration on your video card.

well first you might one to reinstall hoi and all those drivers. Even though you have a good computer you might have alot of programs like kazaa running it happened to me once and turns out I had a virus.

I would read the rules before mentioning things like kazaa on this board!
