Console Command not working anymore

Was there some change with CK2 with some recent update? I tried using Console Command (Alt+1+2 for me) and it didn't work for some reason. It worked two months ago, last time I played. I tried other commands to open it, but didn't work. Has there been any changes on how to enter Console Command since the last time I played in December? It's kind of annoying not being able to use it.

Also, I wasn't on ironman or bronzeman, if you wondered. I tried with and without mods, to see if it was something from the mods or the main game. Same thing. I even stopped writing this, rolled back to an older version (2.8.3) and checke dout. Nope. This is a problem, as I need to deactivate fog of war for my AAR (among other things). Any clue what might be doing this?

Yeah, I've been trying to use the add_lover command and it just won't respond, even when I'm 100 percent sure I've used the right character IDs. My guess is either something changed with the new update or you're not supposed to put spaces between the command and the character ID's.

New keyboard connected to my laptop, but it tried with my laptop keyboard and it doesn't work either. Alt + NumPad 2 + NumPad 1 was my usual one, but doesn't work. Tried the others suggested on the wiki. No luck either. I'm using a French Canadian Keyboard on both, which looks more or less like this.

The only thing I could think of is that I changed the administrative language for a game from frenc h canadian to english canadian, but returned it back after I was finised.

My problem is a bit different than yours. I can't even enter the console command to put commands.

The OP's issue is that he cannot get into the console at all, not that certain commands don't work.
