Hello. I made single player game with 10 empires, 3 fallen empires, 2 Marauder camps and pre FTL civs. I started experiencing frame drops and crashes around January 2 2025. I then got stuck in a never ending save > crash > load > save > crash loop. I then proceeded to make a NEW game hoping that it was just that one game. I turned off primitive civs and restarted only to come across the same frame drops and crashing issues. I THEN proceeded to uninstall and delete my saved then reinstall and made yet ANOTHER game to see if my issue was resolved to come across the same issues again.

Whatever this is, it happens between year 2300 and 2400 (it could be even after for all I know.) I have never dealt with this before and I love this game and played it since it launched on PS4. But sadly I have to say that this game is now rendered unplayable in my eyes.

1. I first had Stellaris console edition on my PS4 external hard drive. I switched it into my PS5 SSD thinking it would've fixed my issue but I was wrong.

The exact same thing is happening to me on my 2 saves and they crash exactly when the month flips on the 1st or 2nd day

I'm on Xbox Series X and definitely not having that major of a crashing issue, but ever since the new DLCs came out it has been crashing 10x as often as before and the lag is no better than it used to be, maybe even worse.
