Game keeps exiting to Windows. This becomes more frequent the larger the prison gets. It is now every few minutes on a particular save which is making it unplayable. Had thought it was due to a lack of RAM but have doubled the RAM and it is still happening

It might be more to do with your graphics memory or VRAM, what are your system specs?
CPU: make and model
GPU: make and model
RAM: amount and speeds
Other: Laptop or Desktop?
Thanks for the reply, it's actually already been sorted.
I have a laptop with integrated graphics and discreet. It turns out that for some reason only the integrated graphics were being used to run PE. In the Radeon settings there is are 'Switchable Graphics' options where I could set PE to run using the 'High Performance' option. This fixed the issue and haven't had a crash since.
