Is there absolutely no way to convert the "heathens" once a city gets larger than 5000? I mean, over time you would realistically be able to convert the population. Just about all of Africa is either Christian or Muslim today, Latin America is Christian, Constantinople/Istanbul has changed quite a bit back and forth and lots of other areas have also been converted. Why can't it be done at all in the game? You should be able to bombard a province with missionaries so that they slowly convert.

Anyway, do you loose anything by having provinces that remain Pagan or Muslim when you're Christian, except for the risk of rebellion?

Missionaries will make EU2.

One thing to cheer about for EU2 then!:D

Provinces such as Zacatecas in Mexico are virtually impossible to reduce to the level where conversion is possible in EU one. It costs a lot of money too.

EU2 .. give me time to get a handle on EU1 !
It seems that EU1 has been out awhile. How long has it been, I have only seen it in some stores of late ?

First appeared around the back end of last year/early this year. It didn't arrive in Britain till April-ish, I think.

So it's been out awhile Heyesey. April for Britain ? Maybe it's just taking time to filter down through our small local retailers (maybe I just missed it) ?
Oh well, I've got it now that's all that counts !
So where will be the best place to get a hold of EU2 ? I'll undertake a pilgramage to your shores if need be ! :)
