Just wanted to pass this on to all those addicted to EU (everyone here?)

I just picked up a book in the bookstore called 'Age of Reconnaissance' by J H Parry. Covers pretty well exactly the era covered by the game. Very cool read, and greatly enhances gameplay :)

It's indeed Reconnaissance. Take it from somebody who was curious enough to go to Amazon and check out the title. :) Actually, the main title becomes a lot clearer in the context of the subtitle: 'Discovery, Exploration and Settlement 1450-1650.' Some of Parry's other books on Empire and colonization look rather interesting as well...

Thanks for the recommendation! I was just wandering my local bookstore's history section with something like this in mind yesterday (with no success). I'm off to Amazon! :)

Another good one is 'Europe: A History' by Norman Davies. It was mentioned in another thread. Very big! It covers the entire history of Europe. There are some mistakes but it's the best of it's kind, I think.

Thanks for the advice!

What is addiction, if one is really addicted, he wouldn't be able to visit the forums (or are you Over-addicted then?)
