Does the Core multiplayer make it easier to play network games? What are the differences between regular and multiplayer?

The MP version over-writes original files (does not use mod-dir) and does not crash in the MP lobby all the time. Also Germany get's some extra manpower in the MP version.
Ok sorry but was does MOD-DIR mean?? So it takes out the firewall that keeps me from hosting network games??

MOD-DIR is a directory in your HOI directory where CORE SP installs it files.
With moddir, you keep your original HoI files and don"t have to reinstall everything again if you want to revert to original HoI.
