I'd like to download CORE once it's got an improved AI. I think(?) that last time I checked, many months ago, the improved AI will only be implemented in CORE version 0.40 - is that correct?

Yep - Beta 0.4.0.6 hit the road last weekend. Still some tweaking to-do on the AI front, but we're making progress.
