OK, the optimist in me made the thread name what it is becuase I hope to have a release at 2300 GMT (still wednesday).

I have posted an installer for some quick testing prior to that time and if there are no problems, we will upload the installer to a public link.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in all of this. And we hope that we can live up to at least half of your expectations. MDow

I was thinking about this too, as I had some problems with registering on the CORE forum... :D
 
Quick question.
So is the save game bug/issue fixed? So we can play after 42 (or was it 43)?
 
I would be surprised if we would NOT put up the links here as well, since they won't refer to the forum at all (they're going to be external).

Guys and gals interested in hosting mirrors for CORE can feel free to PM me or anyone else on the team to set it up. I know some have offered before, but alas I cannot remember their names. :)

That's great news! I can't wait.

But (to continue asking a question to which I haven't seen an answer) does CORE address the USSR GDE bug that cropped up again in 1.3b? This bug causes Soviet GDE to soar to unreasonable (and undefeatable) levels. A couple of quick fixes have been posted, and I'm wondering if CORE includes its own, or if it is not affected by the bug at all.

Great! So have to wait 'til tonight for my new game, i've read so much about CORE1+2, can't wait to give it a try. Concerning mirrors, you could simply upload it to www.megaupload.com and www.rapidshare.de, costs nothing and will be deleted after a few weeks, but i think there will be a real strain in the next days and you could spread it a bit. If you want i could even upload it myself and post the links here, assuming i can really get my hands on it tonight :)
