Corrupt savegames!

I get my savegames corrupted all the time, in a multiplayer we might get lucky and still use the autosaves, but its very annoying, last time both autosave and regular save was corrupted.

It tries to load the game, but just restarts all over.

is it doing this in single player?
Are you sure you don't have anything running in the background?
See the "running problems" thread and post me your config.

Hmm

I use winxp with nothing running in the background.
This is a bug that I hope will be adressed.

I don't think its a single player problem..dont play the game single player much really..

Seems to have something to do with the compress save file util that the program runs...

a lot of people have been talking about this, but frankly, I don't play mp at all, so I don't really know what is going on. I will try playing during Christmas time and see if I can find something.
