could not find game you were atempting to join

Good morning

Me and my friend have a problem with multiplayer, namely we used to play when I hosted the game, but recently my aforementioned friend bought a dlc package and we decided to have him host the game

This is where the problems started, as it turned out that I could not join anywhere, including his lobby.

So far I have tried
-disabling the ipv6 protocol
-disabling the firewall
-changing DNS to google dns and freedns

nothing has worked, my friend can join me and all the open lobbies in the game without any problem, while I get the message ‘could not find game you were atempting to join’,

Are you using any mods? If so both of you disable ALL of them and see if you can play.

If not, we need to determine if th eproblem is indeed at your friend's end. Can they join a game you host?

If they host can any third person join their game?


And, if you two have VPNs, try running them up before starting the game - any better?

Yup
He can join my game without any problem, we used to play on my hosted game without any problems .

We dont have any mods installed, we have same checkaum.

I Think problem lays on my side because i cant join any lobby, even public ones with same checksum.

Right. Do you have a VPN? If so see if that gets past the problem.

If you don't though, connect this PC to the internet via a mobile phone tether/hotspot, just for the purpose of diagnosis - can you join a game then?
