Could use, Help with making my Famelie CoA!
Ok, ive taken a 2 picturs of my Famlie CoA this ones from around 1809, thier is another way before that but dont like that one very much, here have a look at this:
Shield: Split;front up W. with # Eagle with g. weapons, behind W. with 2 r. 3 dergl. Next to eachother Roses and a verticalBeams, then under that 6 to 2 interHooked Wolvesteath hanging.
For those that can do a better translation or cna read the original text and know what it means here you go:
German vesrion of actual text: Gespalten; vorn auf W. ein # Adler mit g. Waffen, hinten W. mit 2 r. 3 dergl. nebeneinanderstehende Rosen einschliesenden Querbalken, an deren unterm 6 zu je 2 ineinandergehakte Wolfszähne hängen.
As you can see i only have it as B&W at the moment, id have to personaly go to the Stattsbibliothek zu Berlin Preußischer Kulturbesitz, or the University library in Kiel etc etc, to get ahold of the books that I got this sent from lol, and dont think I cna get to them any time soon.
So any one like to help here hehe, try and piece this togather in colour.
Thze Eagle is deffinatly Black, probably with red beak and feat but not sure, its background is white as faras I could tell im not sure, I think the short things like W. stand for White, and then you got g. = Green/Grün im not sure so help is appreciated.
Oh yea you might have noticed the Name says Weger and mine is Wegerle, the (le) got added later on as in the Diminutivsuffix "-le" was typicly for the upergerman speaking are's, especialy in the Swabia region. or thats what I was told so.
