Aberation Scenario. Currently we've taken up CQS4 and we're now the new Reigning Game for Wednesday Night. Pretty much the old crew of Dave Lifford and company.

We are likely missing some key positions such as Hungary, Savoy, Granada, a Muslim or Two<possibly>... We'd love for some experienced hands or intermediates to join. We start at 8:30PM EST

as i sayd before i won't play if game isn't back to the time cqs4 was suposed to be wich is 1.30am cet or 7.30pm est so you got a opening fr genoa to if this remains at 8.30 , btw unles hg actually quit he was the gm and still is iirc

Oh well might as well carry on from the other thread here then. I think that at lest everyone is going to be a superpower anyway so it won't matter. Sure some other players would be nice, but as Dago said, the balance will sort itself out.

Drake, where is HG? He was there last week? His started and ended 2 weeks ago...<since he's AWOL without warning> Dave is too busy to GM this and hopefully we can have him as a player or we'll be short a Byz... so I'll probably stick this out with TAF and me and run this as a usual Wens Game...

if you really chekked recently then you know hg had trouble with his connection of pc for some time and did not to awol without notice besides i also don't like it that you the player that didn't even knew we would use aberation at start of game become gm without even notifyng the other players

Drake : HG had problem with conn,and it's ok.But he has posted in other threads,and not here,in these days.So i m pretty sure he ll drop this,as GM and as player.
Let me say that i m the first to will him in this game,and in TOT too
but ,as i said,i ll respect every his decisions

HG has written in TOT4 thread that he is "bored" with EU2 now, and wants to play CK MP instead. I would say the chances of him playing this game, that he originally set up in the first place, are nil. That is why I noted Drew as GM,as he has done it before. As Drew mentioned, if someone else wants to step up and be GM, Drew doesn't care, but I think Drew is a good choice because he shows up consistently, doesn't quit, and finishes games. Any other volunteers?

game wa sfull of confusion , hg never changed the houre to 8.30 in his first post , 8.30was picked asfar as i know so dave ect could be there at start of first session , drew sayd 9.30 at some point before the ession so rather confusing , fred quit due to finding out houres had changed on game start and bocaj complained in vnet at the time that he could not play later then start 1.30 either so obvious i'm not the only 1 not properly informed of change of houres some small part of the group apearently made

considering it apears few where informed that you guys actually changed the times as i saw atleast bocaj , fred and arcorelli waiting at 7.30 you guys lossed atleast 2players to add 1 (no offense duma just stating facts)

Actually, I thought the same. That we started later past week for specific reasons, but that time was not the usual. I will play nevertheless, but we had already lost players, and it seems we are going to lose another one.

tuesday game ya , this 1 no i sayd it from the start i wouldn't play if game wasn't gonna be 7.30 sayd it before this game started even , i had rl problems in passed forcing me to quit some nightgames in passed , i simple can't afford to sleep half the day after this session , there is no such thing as killing a game due to 1player quiting btw unles you got others missing/quiting before

Drake, I know you have time constraints, but we have player constraints and you're a good player and you create fairly health nations. We lose those and we lose a lot. Flanders for instance was a "key figure,' in European Politics in Wednesday game. So was Aragon in Rev<to the point that HG didn't want to take the position over>

I know when it's off your schedule as TOT was for me on Fridays. I played for the whole game anyways though I was waking up 2 hours before start time sometimes...<eating dinner on the run> it was a game sacrifice. I had a busy schedule and barely met the TOT schedule but tried as hard as possible. If you put your 'love' and 'devotion' into your MP Nation then noone else will take it on like you do.

I think you get bored that's all. Sometimes the time is bad but moreover you're just upset with losing wars, bored, or not happy with a nations position, HG is much worse, he'll just leave without an excuse on that. I've left 1 position ever and that was due to differences with the old Hog, Understandable, EU2 gets old and there are other games.<I came back and finished that game that you played in as Mesopotamia!> Just in this one we really kind of need people to dedicate to it..at least 9 or 10 preferably. It's for not just you, but for everyone else involved who devotes their time and energy into it. I know that Duma, King John, Myself were extremely upset and we deserve an apology for showing up for 3 or 4 weeks after you quit on our France. Hey Damo did it too, not saying you're the only guilty party but it's not becoming of an accountable player who requests some of the best Countries<like England, Flanders, etc..>

If Drake isn't around I'll play Genoa, but you neglected to mention that Sicily is a 1 prov minor now Drew. Can't play them. I'll take either Genoa if Drake isn't there or Hungary if the TO doesn't too much mind losing their big vassal, which they probably will, or the Kaliphate or Granada if nothing else works out.

P.S. I could do savoy too but Burgundy is already totally dominant in France, so I don't honestly see a point. You really let Burgundy go too far methinks.

HI, Bob---Drake said he was leaving, so Genoa is open. Dago said he doesn't mind if someone wants to play Hungary and he will release the vassalization--probably should give him some compensation if so. Granada also needs someone. Kaliphate is really too far out of things and is not needed as much as some of the others. Savoy is choosable but is probably dead meat to me as I am Burgundy-may be an exercise in frustration or some major diplomatic tapdancing. Trying to save Byzantium for Dave but it is choosable also. So, why not list your preferred nations in order and we will accomodate you absent any prior considerations. We really need a Genoa, Granada, and Byzantium first, but list as you will---and welcome aboard!!

EDIT: Doh, I just re-read the post and you have chosen Genoa with Hungary for the backup choice Sorry for blathering. So learn Italian and let the backstabbing begin.
