what countries will be in this game i whould really like to see easterin countries like russia i tihnk was around ukraine then some other one that was like located next to turkey forgot its name and what about the vikings and stuff will they be in thier and the mongol's

Well, the map goes quite far to the east (even beyond the Urals) so feel confident they'll be in

The mongoles will be in the game but you wont be abel to play them, and the viknings wherent around anymore when this game starts (they had become christians and "cicvilised" by the time this games starts).
As for the rest it sounds like you wile be abel to play almost every christian dynasti that was around in this time period.

That's debateable :) King Magnus III of Norway is by many considered the "Last Viking King" in Norway. He was killed in battle in Ireland in 1103.

Yes. You should be able to play any Christian feudal lord. That means, with regard to the original question that you can play Russian princes, Georgian (the ones 'next to Turkey' I assume) and the Scandinavian Vikings :p

Mongols will be there, but not playable...
 
Kevin? :confused: You mean Kievan? They're in, off course... The Khazars we a) not a Christian feudal state and b) Not existing as a "state" at all at the start of the game...
 
Not a good idea to play the Russians; not with the Mongols lurking by...
 
Just have to show those horsemen how things are done in Rus! :mad:

With almost 2 centuries to prepare... id pity the mongol who has to fight a human with that long time to prepare :D

..or if they are made almost invincible, then its just an issue of submitting.. and using those armies to crush all OTHER opposition.

Ps: Any chace to go crusading as Igor Igorivitch Rurik? :D (egypt as my goal..)
 
Poland won't let Kievan to be too much powerful when Mongols appear. :D

NO way. Kievan Rus' has to be run the right way, with a Swedish player in charge. ;)

Heem I hope it won’t be too easy to deal with them. After my first game as Byzantium in MTW “In which they completely caught me with my pants down. :D ” They weren’t a challenge after that because all I had to do is prep a nice size army and move it in right before their arrival. Even when I didn’t do this they never were anything to really worry about. :(

I'm afraid, Therion, that you are mistaken. By that time the Lithuanian hordes will have sated their bloodthirst at the banks of the Elbe. Don't worry, though, Krakow will be made provincial seat of a fraction of the Greater Lithuanian Imperium. :p

Brace yourself, they will prolly appear in middle of your country, have high morale, suffer no attrition....

For Mongols I expect one of two extremes, either be very very strong almost unbeatable or or no threat at all.

Lets wish Im wrong and they strike a nice balance with the Mongols.

If we are to belive Havard and John (who should know somethings about it ;)) they will be in the game but not playabel.
