CPU utilization on 100 percent after zoom on any graphic quality

so no matter the quality of the game it will sit at 57.1 percent gpu usage on max zoom and as soon as i zoom in it jumps to 100 percent. I have a 3060 12gb vram with the latest drivers and i can run any other game at high or ultra no issue (i play squad, tarkov, overwatch, marvel rivals and the most i hit is 60-70) any help is appreciated

Also have tried restarting, clearing the cache, and restating the pc

Well, 100% utilization is not a problem in and of itself - that just means it is using all the CPU power you've bought!

Are you seeing any in-game problems at that time though? Maybe stuttering or lagging?



Right click on victoria3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.
Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.

If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.
