Crash - Date Select

1. Have you tried running the game in adminstrator mode?
2. Could you post a dxdiag file? post it straight in, or attach as a text file to a post.

This is a verified problem now, and I have a machine to duplicate it on.
Just to let you guys know we are working on a solution. (no more dxdiag posts needed, although if this crash happens to you in Windows XP let us know)

yes. it seems to be a vista problem only as far as I can see. the crash is inside the nvidia drivers.

here is something you can test for me: switch the game to windowed mode (set fullscreen to no in settings.txt) and let me know if it still happens. It doesn't for me on the vista machine.

I am also having this date-select crash problem using Vista Ultimate and an Nvidia card. However, when I change the settings to force windowed mode, it doesn't load up in a window and I still get the crash. Suggestions?

what do you mean, does it load up in fullscreen?

Yes, it loads up in a full screen. Maybe I am just daft, but I'm not sure why it isnt loading up in a window.

could you post your settings.txt?
