Crash / Error in database

whenever I started a new species and was going to save, it would crash and close by itself, so I deleted everything from it and reinstalled now it only reaches 30% and closes by itself.

when I start the game this warning appears...

"Database error
Failed to migrate database. your data file is likely affected by the latest launcher version. Please remove / rename the {databasepath} file and try again."

I've looked for this file but I haven't found it, I've activated the support and so far nothing....
help me pls.

We now have reports of this with Avast antivirus only, except just 1 report on AVG. Putting C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2021.10.1/paradox launcher.exe in all its exceptions lists, then deleting that sqlite folder one more time, seems to be fixing it reliably.



I also have one report that opting into the beta of the next launcher version 2022.1 helped.

I wasn't successful :/.
I saw that others are also having this problem, so I think the paradox shouldn't take long to fix it.

If this is the database/sqlite error still, it is not Paradox's problem to fix. It is caused by Avast and AVG, at least, getting in the way.

Do you have one of those?

Did you try opting into the launcher beta?

Se este for o erro do banco de dados / sqlite ainda, não é problema do Paradox corrigir. É causado pelo Avast e pelo AVG, pelo menos, atrapalhando.

sim, eu uso o avast.

ja tentei ja inicia a versao beta do launcher...

You may need help from Avast support in making sure it allows our launcher and game to read and write where they want to. I believe it has its own Ransomware function, have you looked into that?
