Unlike EU3, Rome will run with my IntelG945, though it isn't happy about it.
Occasionally (eventually) it would crash during play, but it took time, so ok.
After the last crash though it now dies on takeoff. This occurs when it begins to read 'histories', or something like that. Then puff, gone.
So I tend to think that something got corrupted during a game crash but how to find and fix it?
-------------------------
Other issue:
I should note that Rome's successful (more or less) ability to run on the Intel graphic chip set puts to lie the notion that EU3 is not at fault for being unable to do so. Maybe the groups could talk to each other and share the magic?
Also both games still can see the shared memory and report that there is less thatn 128 available.
