crash on start of MP game

i tried playing with a friend a MP to "teach" him . i hosted the game (i've got the best comp) on vnet , and we tried also with direct ip connecting , but after maybe 2-3 days he goes CTD and i get the pop up "network latency player : xxx).

we both have the same version 1.03c with VIP 0.3c.

back awhile ago, some people tried to do VIP MP and had tough time at it... maybe you should try and go vanilla for MP... the less 'crap'( not intended as bad) the easier to work imho

i just checked with him hosting this time and in both situations the game crashes for the one not hosting exactly after

Also, ensure that you are running at the slowest speed. That has a big impact on CTD's (the players become 'unsynched')
