Crash to desktop, but this isn't random

Current game, whether I use the save game file or the autosave file, at various times in November of 1726, it crashes to desktop.


I've rebooted, ran straight XP, 2000 compatability mode, I've ejected the cd then restarted the game; still crashes.



If someone wants to grab my gamefiles to check it out, let me know.

The same Except the date is different, August 1526, *right as Austria event-annexes Hungary and Bohemia and Sweden turns Protestant*

You might want to send the file off to the support forum. Those repeatable crashes can sometimes be caused by event/leader ids. You might have reached a point where the path inevitably leads to the crash.
