Hi- I've experienced 2 crashs to desktop today. This has never happened before. I log into HOI, go to the saved scenario I've selected(US), start to play. About 15-20 minutes into play-BLAM-out of game, lost all the moves done during the playing time & I'm back to the start of the saved scenario. AFASK this is not a video prob, as I hit Esc when first starting up, which after a while gets me to the opening screen where you select scenarios, etc. Any thoughts? Many thanks, Hugh Browne. :)
 
If you want to skip the intros and not have to esc out then rename the AVI folder to AVI_back. This will also avoid any problems others have experianced with the bink player.

In your case it sounds like your save game has been corupted.
Try the HOI Fix program that can be found in the bug forum, it is designed to recover some saves games like yours.
