Hi, lately I've been suffering with the vic 3, because whenever I try to start a new game, the vic 3 crashes, I've lost a lot of saves, when I installed a new video card, the game ran normally, but after a few hours of gameplay the game crashed again, my PC has the minimum requirements, I've checked the files on Steam several times, some folders are in error, they are them: code_revisions, custom_automated_stats, system, warning, game and dedicated_server,Every time the game crashed when opening the map, the validation code appeared in red [modified]

Having a wrong checksum means you have debug mode enabled, are using mods, or have a corrupted install.

So make sure debug is not enabled, and that you disable all mods in the Paradox Launcher. If you still get a modified checksum, Please do a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Vic3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Victoria3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add Victoria3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Victoria3 or Documents Victoria3 locations, before installing again.
