Crash when i try to start Campaign

Hello i have just bought CK and Victoria and Two thrones.

But i have a problem in CK and Victoria. I cant start the campaign then the program crash.

I have tryed to reinstall both games and download the updates, but still the same. i have also tryed to repair it serveal times.

Do anyone have an idear what the problem could be ?


Im playing on a pentium 4, 3,73ghz. 4G ddr2, Radeon 512ddr3 with XP..

Okay let's try some standard things.
1) Make sure you have the latest patch for the game.
2) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
3) Set the color depth to 16BIT
4) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
5) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.

i renamed Avi to Avi_back and changed color to 16bit..
