Not sure why this is happening, buuut whatever.

I upgraded to Windows XP Professional SP 1 last night, defragged the hard drive, and decided to play EU2 this morning. The game starts up fine, I go to start a new Grand Campaign. Select some random country, click okay, and it crashes to desktop. No error, just CTD. Makes no sense, so I reinstalled EU2, upgraded to May 11th Beta (which I'd been using prior to this point), and I still get the same result.

Any ideas, noting that uninstalling SP1 is not an option?

Edit: Nevermind, problem fixed. Apparently SP1 dislikes BinkPlay (as do I!) :)

Okay, sorry for the delay, MrT is away for awhile.

There should be an optional update for XP that solves the problem, however, why delay your play time by watching the movies over and over again anyway. :)
