Crashes during initial load

Hello,
I get a crash to desktop trying to run AGOT for the first time. I downloaded and ran CK2-icefiremod_setup_1.2.exe

It appears to install just fine with no error messages. I have gotten the same results on two different machines. I have attached all the log and dump files I could find. All the other log files were ok in size.

I have tried the game with all dlc off and no other mods same crash to desktop result.

Any help much appreciated.

if you are running it with 2.6.1 it is not compatible with that. other than that, i have no idea.

I'm on steam with auto updates so thats probably my issue. How do I role back to 2.6? Can't find info on that.

Current version is 2.5.2.2 and I figured out how to get it. Thanks for pointing out the obvious for me.
