I have been facing a series of severe problems for the past few months. pretty much ever since "Roads to Power" released really
- Upon launching the game I go through the loading screen and let it run it's course, before I get to the main menu it crashes, it crashes the entire laptop causing a restart.
- When I play the game itself occasionally it freezes my computer, the music gets "corrupted" for a few seconds, kinda like an old *very scratched* PS2 disc effect.
- As for the loading time, I can click the "Load Game" button and it will take over a minute just to open the sub menu where I can choose a save file to load into. same goes for the "Save Game" menu etc. this gets worse and worse the longer I play in one session. the more times I save/reload.
So far my course of action was to:
Verify files > update drivers > clean removal of the game and reinstalling.
sadly I still can't fix any of the listed errors. kind of desperate to find a solution as this makes CK3 a less then pleasant experience after years of smooth sailing.
