Crashes

Haven't been able to play much of the game due to incessant crashes at random moments - including the diplomacy one noted earlier - but also at other times. Seems very unstable. Patch seems to make no diff - so I think system??
I also get no ingame music?!?
Is it something to do with winsock2 - which doesn't want to install on my pc from the cd?
Any helps out there??

RIVA TNT 2

As I have stated in other threads I allso get crashes to desktop. Usually when loading the game or ending one or saving it. I noticed we have something in common I got
RIVA TNT 2 allso.


Has anyone got any idea if HARDWARE PROFILE is to BLAME?
