Crashing etc

I played as England during the Exploration scenario and it kept crash to my desktop constantly! Like seriously twice a year. I have no clue what is going on and I have reinstalled EU2 and reinstalled v1.4 and nothing helped.

Any suggestion why this is crashing or to my EU2 more stable??

anyway, you should post this in the support forum

The 1.4 version is reported to run very stable, so it must be another conflict. Always run with as little background programs as possible

If the problem keeps occuring go to the support forum and ask again, including full specs of your PC

and rename your avi folder to something else as the binkplay.ee used to play the intro also can cause the game to crash

Blink can cause crashes? Heard that before, never encountered it myself

It could be my imagination, but I think it has helped a lot on my computer.

And if it doesn't help he won't have to look at the intro and that saves about 30 seconds which he can play longer...

I CTD fairly often myself, not twice a game year, though. Nothing running in the background, newest driver for the vid card...

Annual auto-save means it's just annoying, though, not really painful.
