I've never experienced a performance difference between nations - regardless of where they are. Anything symptomatically common about the way you're noticing the crashes?
Nah, they're the nasty kind that just happen, sometimes even when you aren't doing anything but moving the mouse. I used to get a lot more load game/save game crashes with ROTW too but thankfully they are very rare now.
But I suppose it must be simply my imagination blurring the barrier between fact and chance as I play ROTW more often :\

I assume you've done the usual stuff....renamed the avi folder to avi_old, updated all drivers, run Windows update, etc?
If so, is this with a "clean" install or are you running one of the mods (EEP, AoN, etc.)?

It's with EEP, but I haven't had any crashes in a while yet. I suppose the usuals should be enough if anything happens thanks
