I am new to the modding, but I have some ideas to spice up my game. I would like to create new rank for leaders (Rank 4 or mabe also Rank 5) so I would have Colonel, Brig. General, Mj. General, Lt. General, General and FM. Also with navy and airforce.
Is these possible? I saw some mods in witch they change the names form Mj. General to Colonel, but I cant find the right file fot that or to add new one, where is it? Apart from that, I know I must change the db/leaders files all start and end years… But are there any other files I must change.
And another thing is creating a new unit type. I would like to play USA and have Rangers divisions, I was thinking of copy a paratrooper text in db/units/division_types and change the ID and name, copy and change the ID in db/units/divisions folder. And create new model. So every time a new paratrooper unit will be available a new ranger unit will also appear. But these doesn’t work, is there some other file I must change?
