Hi everyone,
I've got a really important question upon w/c I think the future of my little mod will depend. I'm modding the Europe map of CK into a representation of the British isles and while the going has been slow and at times rough it's been generally successful. Now what I need to know is how if possible to make any one region uncrossable something like terra incognita, inaccessible especially to the AI. The problem I've run into is the map of Europe is difficult at best to contour to the British isles and what I've been forced to do is to contort the British isles to fit the CK map w/c as far as we know cannot be changed (like you can't take a province from one location and place it in an entirely different location like putting Jerusalem in the middle of the Atlantic). The critical issue is the location of the Isle of Wight - to put it in the current French Bordeaux region will force me to transform provinces surrounding it into water and I can ill afford to lose them there. My solution was to move it to the Compostela/Corunna region where there are move provinces available and more space but this involves some amount of contorting in that places that are supposed to be near each other are suddenly far and those that should be no where near each other are suddenly distant.
Thanks,
Richmond
