Hello, Crusader Kings 2 close itself after the slightest automatic backup and without putting an error message, I took it on Steam and I play on the penultimate version, I also have Europa Universalis 4 which does never had this problem, hope you have ideas to fix this problem and help me discover this games.

Do you have 32bit Windows perhaps? We've seen this happen on that OS.

I guess they handle memory differently in some way.

Here's what you can do:

1: Open Command Prompt
2: Set it to be in Admin mode http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc947813(v=ws.10).aspx
3: Paste this in: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2560
4: Restart
5: If you ever need to undo: BCDEdit /deletevalue increaseuserva

That allows apps to access 2.5gb of memory instead of 2gb. However it reduces memory available to Windows itself so may affect overall performance.

Going to 64bit Windows will fix it, as that has no such limits.
