Crusader Kings III - Achievements Not Unlocking

To be more accurate, the achievements unlock for the in-game list, but Steam does not fire off with them. I am playing version 1.0.3. I tried doing the achievements again in a new save, but nothing happened. It seems that once you have unlocked it for the in-game tracker, that is it, no further flags can fire.

That screenshot seems to show that Ironman is disabled, is that right? If so you can't earn any achievements that way.

Sorry, but the game save itself was iron-man. Why would toggling the iron-man switch in the achievements menu stop me from getting the achievements? At any rate, here is a further screenshot to show that I got it in iron-man.

Edit: Regarding the achievements window. From what I have seen, it automatically opens up with the toggle off and the toggle itself does not serve any purpose. Could you explain why that is there?

Because running in Ironman mode is a requirement for earning achievements, in this and all our other games.

Ah, let me clarify a few things, as there seems to be a bit of confusion. Regarding the first picture where it appears I am not in iron-man mode; that is what happens when I open up the window to show achievements from the main menu of the game. At least in my experience thus far, regardless of what mode I have my saves in, it always automatically opens with the button ticked off and if you tick it to iron-man and close the achievements window and open it again, it shows up again with it ticked off.

My last question was regarding the window for achievements in the main menu of the game. Why is there a toggle that seems to always be ticked off when I open it and that does not show anything different when ticked on?

Oh, and to add to this further... Yes, I am aware of the requirement to always play in iron-man. That is why when I start a game, I always click the game rules and check to make sure that the save I am starting is an iron-man one. As you can see, the save itself was in iron-man.

But yeah, I think one way to fix the issue would be having the option to reset individual or all achievements in the game; another would be to have a button that synchronises the achievements that the game thinks you have with the achievements Steam thinks you have.

That is one issue, but the baffling thing is, is that I have been unlocking achievements perfectly fine up until this one. The Mother of Us All achievement is the only one I have had an issue with and I have managed to unlock other achievements after trying to get it. It shows in-game that I have it unlocked, but it did not fire on Steam, so I am honestly at a total loss at what I can do, as I did managed to do the requirements for it again (converting all of Africa to her religion as one of her descendants of the same house). So yeah, is there any secret way to reset it?

I'm pretty sure that one is not working for anyone, as every error.log I see mentions it.

Having got some achievements (even though they don't show in Steam yet) you now want to reset them so you can try them again, is that your request? In Stellaris there is a console command to do that, but I'm not aware of one for this game.

To my knowledge, any achievement that requires a specific starting character, will not fire on steam if it is not completed in 1 gaming session.
EX: I took all of Britain starting as a son of lodbrok, but I played it over the course of a few days, I did not get the achievement.
My friend took all of Britain starting as a son of lodbrok, but did it from start to finish in 1 gaming session, without exiting to the main screen or desktop.

I do hope that some sort of backwards compatibility will be made for achievements that were completed, but couldn't trigger on steam, but it is doubtful.

Right, I had not heard of the issue with multiple session achievements. That would actually make a lot of sense... Also, yeah, a console command to reset it would be nice (or backwards unlock compatability, both work), in case I can no longer unlock it because it is already unlocked.

Still, it is nice to finally have an answer regarding why this was happening. I was starting to worry something had gone terribly wrong on my end and my end alone. Thank you for all the time it took to get to this point.
