Crusader Kings III Keeps crashing in the same place/same time.

Description​

The game crashed in the middle of me playing yesterday around 6pm Eastern time. I stopped playing and tried to continue playing about 3 hours later and it crashed again in the same place/time. I tried again, it crashed. I’ve been playing this specific game for 3-4 days without issue until yesterday. It doesn’t matter if I change up what activity I choose. When it starts back up, it always takes me back to the same exact spot where it started. Never where i ended. So i wonder if it has to do with it trying to save? When it crashes i try to send the crash report and that fails. I’ve tried some recommendations I found online and none work. Verify Integrity of game files, launch from local exe, launch from local exe as administrator. I saw there was an update yesterday. Could this have caused the issue? The update says “This update should be fully compatible with existing 1.16.2 saves.” Perhaps this is not exactly true?

Steps to reproduce​

Just have to launch the game and try to play. It plays fine for a minute and then crashes. It crashes every time on February 22nd.
