CTD 1.05 when clicking on the Crusade banner behind the player portrait

Title says it all. I patched. I load my saved game. First thing I do is click the banner. Crashes to desktop. Happens over and over.

I would love to attach the saved game, but it fails every try. :/

Is this a game started pre-1.05? Saves are not 100% compatible 1.04->1.05 . Not that they should cause a CTD, but please test this with a fresh game, thanks.

I am testing with a fresh game. I just haven't gotten a Crusade yet! lol

I can back up this problem. Mine you don't even have to click on the crusade banner, just mouse over it. We pay good money for these games, and they should work. I love you guys paradox, but this type game has save files that take dozens of hours to create. Simply starting over means you've wasted all that time.

BTW, mine WAS started pre 1.05c and it's happening on 1.05c via STEAM.

This is because the crusade is invalid as of 1.05.
To fix it, unpause the game for just a single day without hovering over the crusade flag. The crusade will then be called off and everything's back to normal.
