so it is simple. I could start the game and select which scenario I want to play, than when I press the START Button
strange BLACK/GREY Changing of screen and over.
Yes it is the Problem from changing resolution adn video drivers, but not really.
Very seldom it works about 5% or so it changes to the game and I could play.
But I even know a workaround, when I press the START Button I have to hit
ALT+TAB, a dozen times on my keyboard to change to Desktop, when it starts to change to windows, I could stop to press this KEYS and now the game changes between WINDOW Mode and "BLACK GREY flashing FULLSCREEN" a lot of time, you couldn't stop. After some time of changig it finished up with the HEARTS OF IRON Icon in the Statusbar and Harddisk starts to load. Now you could start the game with Pressing the left mouse button on the icon (NOT ALT+TAB) and the game starts in FULL SCREEN.
Some times I am too slow to get the ALT+TAB Keys in time and the game crashes before starting, so it is really boring to start my games.
I am using a Toshiba Laptop with NVidea 3 GO 440 3D Graphics Card and Yamaha sound chip built in.
WinXP Pro, all updates.
and HOI 1.05a (Same problems with 1.05 and original Version)
Tried it with ENGLISH Install and GERMAN (Koch Version)
Latest Graphic Card Drivers are outdated but there are no new one for this GO NVidea, even if I am installing the latest Version from NVidea Homepage the drivers are not replaced ?
OKAY maybe you look in that Problem with resolution changing or make it possible to start the game IN WINDOW MODE, so that I could change to FULL WINDOW MODE after the game has loaded.
After 40 hours play ONLY 1 time a CTD in the game (Now I am saving very often, because AUTOSAVE isn't working)
