CTD Every time on start up

Hi Guys,

I have installed Doomsday and then Armageddon on start up on the top right it says Doomsday Armageddon 1.2 RRJN. When I choose a country to play and start it up I see the picture and the bar going along the bottom as its loading up and just as the bar finishes I get a CTD every time. I have tried renaming the AVI folder to Aviback as I have read in the forums but that hasnt worked? Any ideas?

Your Checksum does not sound right

I recommend the following

Uninstall everything

Physically delete the folder where the installation was

Turn off UAC (if you have vista)

Install Doomsday... not in the default path... something like c:\games\dd

Install Arma on top of this directory.

Patch Arma to 1.2 again on top of the above directory

Run Arma .. you should get VBLV as your checksum

If so you should be okay

Then if you so wish install the 1.3 beta patch.. Before doing this copy the entire contents of the dd folder to another location... then extract the files for 1.3 on top of the dd folder.
