2 Bugs here, the expanding save game problem and the Annex final combatant bug. Both should be fixed with 1.04.

The expanding save, yes. Details in a sticky thread in the GD forum.
The Annex, I don't think so but you could check in the Bug forum and see if there is anything in the do it yourself bug fix thread on it. I know one way to extend the game would be to DOW your ally.
But why not try the new patch?
