CTD on channel scroll in 12/4 beta MP

When you try to manipulate the scroll bar in the Channel selection in the multiplayer selection screen the game crashes to desktop with the latest beta (12/4-05).

I tested this with a clean install of EU2, 1.08 + latest beta (overwrite).

I uploaded a screenshot.

EDIT: You can click around on the bar without crashing, but it crashes when you either mousewheel or when you try to click and drag the scrollbutton.

Can anyone else confirm this pls, or is it a one-off?
 
Confirmed. It was doing it for me on my laptop with the February patch. And is still doing it with the new one.

If the channel you want is listed, you can click on it with no problems. If, however, you try and scroll the channel bar, immediate CTD.

EU2-Same for me on Mac and PC. It seems to have started after they updated Valkrienet. It also happens with HOI2 as well as Victoria on both Mac and PC. Havent tried CK yet...
 
Yeah. THe VNET update seems to be the cause. I noticed additional channels that had not been there as of 2 weeks ago.
 
No crash for me in Victoria or HOI2. Victorias scroller works for me and HOI2 does not even have a scrollbar. Have not tested CK either. Tried EU2 again to see if it had been fixed, but it still crashes.

As soon as the new channels were added. I remember Vnet being down and when it came back i noticed the new channels and scrolled to see what was up, Boom, CTD. Hopped into Victoria(Both Mac) same thing.

Swithced to a PC and booted up EU2, same thing, Hoi2 same as well.

Havent tried vicky on the PC yet or CK.
 
OK, thanks all. Johan intends to fix this shortly.
 
Correction. HOI2 and Vicky work fine on the PC, i can scroll to my hearts content. Eu2 crashes on the PC. Mac, both EU2 and Vicky Crash when you scroll.

Sorry bout that... :rolleyes:
